Variegated Triangle Fig, Heart Plant, Ficus Triangularis, Live Houseplant in 4 Inch Pot

About this plant:

Variegated Ficus triangularis is a distinctive ornamental houseplant prized for its uniquely shaped triangular leaves edged in creamy white. Native to tropical Africa, this elegant ficus offers a refined, airy look while still being easy to grow indoors. The striking variegation creates a bright, sophisticated contrast that makes it a standout statement plant for shelves, desks, or floor displays.

Compared to traditional ficus varieties, Ficus triangularis Variegata grows more compact and upright, forming a tidy, bushy structure with delicate branching. Its light colored margins help reflect light, making the plant especially attractive in modern interiors and plant collections focused on texture and foliage contrast.

This plant thrives in bright, indirect light where its variegation remains vibrant. It prefers well draining soil and should be watered when the top portion of the soil dries out. Like many ficus, it appreciates stable conditions and may drop a few leaves if exposed to sudden temperature changes or drafts, but quickly rebounds once settled.
